Emotional perception and sensitivity to experiencing negative emotions in various situations that pose a potential threat to humans.

In the first part of the experiment, you should imagine how you would feel in different situations or when observing different objects and how strong emotions (fear or disgust) you would feel in that situation. The situations and objects will be presented in the form of photographs, which you will rate on several scales.

However, people are individually sensitive to different threats and emotions. It is this sensitivity to the feeling of fear, sensitivity to various aversive stimuli or the level of anxiety (a priori fears) that will be measured in the second part of the study using specialized questionnaires.

The last part of questions is asked retrospectively, where you should recall how you felt during the first threat of the global pandemic of Covid-19 in 2020, what emotions you experienced and how you behaved.

To avoid influencing you too much in advance, the specific scientific question that this experiment addresses will be revealed after you have completed the full set of questionnaires.

The whole experiment will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

Thank you for participating in the experiment!
